Bio: Prior to being hired in 2019, Lance was better known as Mr. Munselle.  Lance spent the previous 10 years teaching physical education, the last 5 of which were at this alma mater Healdsburg High School.  Married to Dr. Amy Munselle, who owns a dental practice in Healdsburg, the couple has two young daughters who currently Alexander Valley School.  Passionate about health and fitness, Lance is an avid outdoorsman who is often found cycling, skiing, or hunting.

Special Projects: Lance serves as an SCBA technician and is a Swiftwater Technician.

Educational Background: Lance earned his BS in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and later his Master's in Science in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaii.

Career History: Having decided to make a career change in 2017, Lance dove into the fire service starting as a Reserve Firefighter in Healdsburg.  Later that year, he graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College Firefighter 1 Academy, Class of 93, in 2018 before getting hired full-time with the Sonoma County Fire District in May 2019.
