Michael Stornetta
Bio: Mike is a 4th generation Sonoma Countian, currently living in Rincon Vally with his wife. Mike graduated from Montgomery High School in 2001 before attending the Santa Rosa Junior College. In 2002, Mike was sworn in as a Volunteer Firefighter with the Rincon Valley Fire District. Mike enjoys spending time with family and has a passion for fishing and golf.

Career History: In 2002 Mike was sworn in as a Volunteer Firefighter with the Rincon Valley Fire District and was qualified as a part-time paid Firefighter in 2004. Mike was hired with the Windsor Fire District in 2007 as an Engineer. In 2013, Mike was accepted on to California Task Force 4's Urban Search and Rescue Task Force as a Canine Search Specialist. He was paired up with his search dog Rocket in 2014, and they are still paired today. In 2019, Mike was promoted to Fire Captain with the Sonoma County Fire District. Currently, Mike is an Acting Battalion Chief and qualified as a Fire Officer on SCFD's helicopter, "Sonoma County 1". Mike is also elected as Sonoma County Professional Fire Fighters Director and the overall 1401 Vice President.
